Let There Be Light – Beach Themed Small Bathroom Renovation
Usually, when you think about a house or an apartment close to the beach, you are imagining light and spacious rooms with lots of natural light coming from the windows. But how can you have all of this without any windows?
Living by the beach has a lot of advantages and one of them is incorporating the surrounding into your home.
The bathrooms had everything but the light. They were small with a low ceiling and no windows. It was very clear what our customer wanted to achieve and we are very happy with the final result.
- Taking inspiration from the beach setting, we opted for creamy, light colors. Floor tiles and wall tiles are light and big scale creating a bigger space because you can’t see busy grout lines between the tiles. The feature wall tile is made of matte white subway tile in a brick pattern, keeping the whole look modest but interesting.
- A led lighting has been installed above the bathtub to reflect light on the white subway tiles.
- Brushed Nickel tapware.
- Bringing Oak Timber Vanity and a floating shelf into the mix creates a close-to-nature feeling and is a perfect touch for a beachy look.
- Slimline solid surface basins work very well with the overall clean design.
