Butler Sinks
Butler kitchen sinks have an interesting history dating back to the 17th century. At that time these kitchen sinks were used to wash many different things not only dirty dishes, this is why the size of the bowl is generous and quite large.
There are a few variants of this sink, like a London sink, Belfast sink, and a Farmhouse sink. They all look similar with slight variations.
What makes butler sinks very practical is the way they are installed. Usually, three sides – the back and right/left side won’t be seen because it will be sitting inside the kitchen counter. The only side this visible and exposed is the front side. In that way, it is easier to lean over the sink and take advantage of the large washbowl.
Nowadays butler kitchen sinks come in different colours, styles, and finishes so it is easier to find a suitable option for your new kitchen or kitchen reno.
