Playful Modern Bathroom Design
Modern bathrooms feature lots of greys and blacks introducing sophistication and drama. Bringing a little bit of color in, not one but maybe two or three, creates certain playfulness without being too much and this is what we love about this bathroom – playfulness on different levels!
At the first glance, you notice walls of grey and white. Then from the corner of the eye, you can see a pop of blush pink in a basin, then your eye moves to the yellowish-golden shoer tapware. All these elements have a purpose and are carefully selected to balance the mood in the bathroom.
If you look carefully, colour is not the only playful element in the modern bathroom. Can you see the skylight window? The window plays with light and shades creating patterns on a simple subway feature wall that reflects the light in different angles. What a smart idea to do. Not only is the skylight a nice way to bring in natural light but also create some movement in terms of the reflection.
