The tile insert floor waste is designed so the drain grate is tiled over to match the surrounding floor. Instead of a visible grate in the floor, you get a continuous tile surface with only a thin framed gap to mark the drain location.
It is the preferred choice for large-format floor tiles where a standard grate would break the visual continuity of the floor. In brushed nickel, the frame that surrounds the tiled insert coordinates with a brushed nickel tapware and accessories scheme.
