Meet the Birds Nest timber vanity – open, airy and beautifully practical

The Birds Nest timber vanity combines generous drawer storage with a practical open shelf below. The open design keeps the vanity feeling light and spacious, while still giving you plenty of room for everyday bathroom essentials.

Use the shelf for folded towels, baskets or your favourite bathroom pieces, and keep everything else neatly tucked away in the drawers.

Custom made in Sydney, the Birds Nest vanity can be tailored to suit your bathroom. Choose your timber, size, benchtop and basin configuration to create a vanity that works beautifully in your space.

What’s included

Your choice of timber – choose from Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, Wormy Chestnut, Tasmanian Oak or American Oak. Visit our Timber Vanity Gallery for inspiration.
A timber or stone benchtop – choose a timber top or stone in Pure White, Snow or Organic White. You can also source your own benchtop if you prefer.
Pre-cut waste hole for an above-counter basin.*
Your choice of basin position – centred, left or right aligned, or a double basin configuration for vanities 1200mm and wider.

Please read carefully before placing your order.

Natural timber movement
Timber is a natural material and may expand or contract slightly with changes in humidity and temperature. Minor movement is normal and to be expected.
Handmade with care
All of our timber vanities and cabinets are handmade to your specified measurements and configuration. A tolerance of ±5 mm is considered acceptable due to the handcrafted nature of the product.
Natural variation
Solid timber features natural grain, colour, and texture variations. These characteristics are part of its beauty and uniqueness, and no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
Fitting between walls
If your vanity is being installed between two walls, final measurements should be taken by your builder after tiling is complete. We recommend allowing a few millimetres clearance to ensure the vanity can slide in comfortably.
Difficult access? No problem.
We can build your vanity as a single unit or in two pieces if access to the bathroom is tight. Just let us know when ordering.
Stone benchtops
If your vanity will sit between two walls, we’ll book a site measure to ensure a perfect fit. For all other installations, we recommend the stone overhang the vanity by at least 5 mm at the front and sides. In these cases, a site measure is not required.
Supplying your own stone
If you’re supplying your own stone top, you’ll be responsible for measuring and coordinating with your chosen stonemason.
Please note: Just in Place supplies stone only within the Sydney metro area.

Please note: Custom made orders (vanities, mirror cabinets, other bathroom joinery and stone tops) cannot be cancelled after an invoice has been paid in full or partially. Custom made products cannot be returned or exchanged.

VANITIES DELIVERY OR PICK UP FROM SHOWROOM

For the purchase of any Vanity and/or Shaving cabinet, we offer both pickup and delivery options for the products.

FOR SHOWROOM PICKUP:

Please ensure that you arrange to pick up the product within a week of the notification of its arrival. Additionally, please arrange to arrive with an extra set of hands to assist with loading your cabinet/vanity into your car (these are custom/handmade products and are not boxed or packed).

FOR DELIVERY:

We offer a delivery service to the site for an additional cost of $150 Sydney metro (for other areas, please contact us for a quote), which needs to be booked at the time you place your order.

Should you choose this option – we will notify you a few days prior to the arrival of the product. Please ensure to meet the driver on site and inspect the items carefully upon arrival. Any issue or concern should be raised on the spot with the driver before he departs.

NOTE – Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to store items at our showroom for more than a week. Any items left in the store for over a week, after notifying the buyer of their arrival, shall incur an ADDITIONAL COST of $150 per week for off-site storage.
