Concrete Basins
Concrete Basins
There’s something undeniably tactile and inviting about concrete basins. The soft texture and handmade feel make them a beautiful way to add warmer atmosphere to your bathroom, balancing out some of the more reflective surfaces such as your tiles or stone.
And if you love colour, you will delight in the rich and vibrant tones of concrete basins, and the breadth of colours available.
Because concrete basins are custom made meaning that no two basins are absolutely identical. By their nature, they are perfectly imperfect, which is what gives them so much character. You will see subtle variations in the colour, with slightly lighter or darker areas, and you will also see naturally occurring air bubbles – more or less depending on the style and manufacturing process.
A concrete basin can be an understated addition to your showpiece vanity or bold tiles, or the basin itself can be the star of the show in your bathroom. If you want your concrete basin as the main feature, choose a colour that will really pop against your tiles, tapware, and vanity. A strong, earthy blue or green against white wall tiles for example, or a paler, more subtle hue against a moody backdrop.
