For clients completing their renovation with us, including construction, our design services are included as part of your project.
If you’re working with your own builder, our design services can still play a valuable role. We’ll help you make confident decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and bring everything together into a clear, cohesive plan before construction begins.
Design Service Options
Complimentary 1 Hour Design Session (Showroom)
A focused, one-on-one session to help you get started. We’ll guide you through layout, selections and overall direction so you can move forward with clarity. Suitable for full bathroom finishes and fittings, vanities and mirror cabinet design, tile selection or tapware selection.
Interior Design Package
A more in-depth service with dedicated design guidance and support for your renovation. Ideal if you need help pulling everything together or making multiple key decisions. Once we understand the details of your project we’ll suggest the right package for your needs.
Custom Vanity & Mirror Cabinet Design
Designing a custom vanity with us is a creative and collaborative process — and an enjoyable one too!
We begin by reviewing your ideas and inspiration to get a feel for the look and style you’re wanting to create with your vanity and we will also look at your floorplan to understand how the vanity needs to function within your bathroom.
From there, we work through every element of the design, from size and proportions to overall style, timber or colour, drawer and door profiles, and all the finer details that bring the piece together.
Whether you choose to customise one of our existing designs or create something completely bespoke, your vanity and mirror cabinet will be tailored specifically to your home and the way you use it.
Bathroom Design
If you’re at the beginning of your renovation and not sure where to start, this is the perfect first step.
The real value of these sessions is how much it simplifies and takes all the stress out of the process. Instead of spending weekends running between different showrooms, trying to piece everything together, you can make all your selections in one place with expert guidance.
In every session, we start by getting into your ideas and inspiration, how your bathroom needs to function within your home, and who will be using it day to day. We’ll review your floor plan to see where improvements can be made, then guide you step by step through selecting everything you’ll need, from your vanity and mirror cabinet to tiles, tapware, basins and all fittings. By the end, your bathroom will feel fully resolved, with a clear picture of exactly how it will look and come together.

Full Bathroom Design
For those wanting a complete, cohesive result, our full bathroom design service covers every detail.
You’ll come to our showroom where we’ll collaboratively design your bathroom from the ground up, including your layout, vanity and mirror cabinet, tiles, and all fixtures and fittings. Every element is selected to work beautifully together and suit the way you live day to day.
If you’re completing your bathroom renovation with us, this full design service is included as part of the process.
Partial Bathroom Design
If you don’t need a full design, we can step in exactly where you need us.
Whether it’s designing a custom vanity, or helping you select fittings and finishes, we’ll focus on the areas that matter most to you. It’s a flexible option that still gives you the benefit of expert guidance and a more polished end result.
Kitchen Design
As part of our kitchen renovation service, we offer a complete kitchen design experience from our showroom.
We’ll work with you to determine the best layout for your kitchen so it functions effortlessly, then guide you through every design decision – from cabinetry colours and door profiles through to benchtops, handles and splashback tiles.
You’ll be able to see and feel materials in person, layer different finishes together, and understand how everything will come together as a whole. The result is a kitchen that not only looks beautiful, but feels right for the way you use it every day.
Kitchen Design Review Service
Are you planning a kitchen renovation but not feeling 100% confident about your layout or finishes? Our Kitchen Design Review Service is designed for exactly this stage.
Even if you’ve looked over your plans countless times, a fresh and experienced set of eyes can often spot opportunities or issues that aren’t immediately obvious.
In this 1 hr session, we’ll take a deep dive into your kitchen layout to see if anything could be improved, whether that’s flow, functionality, storage or overall proportions. We’ll also review your selections, from cabinetry and colours through to benchtops, handles and splashback, to make sure everything works together as a cohesive whole.
You’ll leave with clear, practical feedback and the confidence that your kitchen is set up to not only look beautiful, but function exactly the way it should.
Laundry Design
As part of our laundry renovation service, we offer a comprehensive laundry design session at our Belrose showroom.
No matter the size of your laundry, getting the design right makes a huge difference to how your home runs.
In your laundry design session, we’ll take the time to understand your routines and what you need from the space. From there, we’ll plan a layout and storage solution that makes everyday tasks quicker and easier.

Custom Joinery
We also design and create custom joinery throughout the home.

Choosing the right tiles can be overwhelming when you don’t know where to start. At Just in Place, we have tile experts who break down the process so it’s simple and easy… and often times actually very fun!
