How to work with us on your custom vanity
We’re here to make the custom vanity process feel clear, considered and enjoyable from the very beginning.
If you are based in Sydney, you can visit our Belrose showroom for a design session with our team. This gives you the opportunity to see timber samples in person, look at finishes, talk through your bathroom layout and explore the different styles, sizes and storage options available.
If you are regional or unable to visit the showroom, we can still work closely with you by video call, phone and email. You can send through your plans, measurements, inspiration images or renovation details, and we can guide you through the options remotely.
Whether we meet in person or work together from a distance, our role is to help you make confident decisions and create a vanity that feels right for your bathroom, your home and the way you live.
Details to think about when designing your vanity
Often it’s the smallest of details that can make your vanity feel just right for you and your home.
When designing your vanity, we’ll help you think through details such, the thickness and style of the frame, the type of opening mechanisms and whether you prefer handles, knobs or finger pulls, the basin placement and number of basins, which benchtop material and style is right for you – and how all these elements will work with the rest of your bathroom.
Storage is another important part of the design. You may prefer drawers, doors or a combination of both, depending on what you need to store and how you like to use the space. We can help you consider how deep or shallow the drawers need to be, where internal divisions might be useful and how the configuration can work around plumbing.
We will also make sure we achieve the overall look you want to create, whether that is clean and contemporary, warm and natural, traditional, furniture-inspired or something more detailed and character-filled.
Wall hung and floor-standing timber vanities
Choosing between a wall hung or floor-standing vanity often comes down to the feel you want to create in your bathroom.
