Black & White Encaustic Tiles

Encaustic tiles are tiles where the pattern on top of the tile is created by different colors of clay.

There is something very special about encaustic tiles. These patterned tiles are so bold and distinctive, but at the same time remarkably versatile. Depending on the tile design and how it is used, encaustic tiles can look traditional, eclectic, or contemporary and they definitely make a statement.

Hard-wearing and low-maintenance encaustic tiles can be used in a variety of spaces, including wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and they are suitable for both floors and walls.

In this project the laundry and powder room is the first thing you see as you enter the front door, therefore it was important to create a wow factor.

A striking combination of black and white motifs was balanced with more natural elements, such as the timber shelf and greenery, which created a space you cannot miss.
