A Blue Feature Tile Wall in a Bathroom? Yes, please!

Are you considering a blue feature wall for your bathroom?

We recently completed these two stunning bathrooms where a blue feature tile wall is the star of the show.

Design tip:
You don’t have to make all the bathrooms in your house exactly the same!

To connect few bathrooms together, you want to keep them within the same aesthetic universe, for example, a common colour palette. You don’t need to go with the same tile or exactly the same feature wall. Here the common theme is the blue tile that varies in terms of colour shade, size and shape.

In the kids’ bathroom:

    • The feature wall was done in a blue ceramic subway tile, laid in a diagonal herringbone pattern

In the ensuite:

    • Here we chose a big scale, blue, glossy, subway tile for the feature wall, laid in a stacked pattern.

For both bathrooms:

    • For the floor, a neutral grey porcelain tile lets the blue feature walls shine and is very low maintenance.
    • We selected a back to wall bath tub to give that gorgeous free-standing look but with more practicality.
    • The vanity is a solid Black Butt timber vanity with two top finger pull doors on the side and two top finger pull drawers in the centre. A timber top was chosen to add.
    • A Black Butt timber shaving cabinet with centre mirror doors and fixed shelves on the sides provides ample storage
    • Black glazed glossy ceramic double basins.
    • Matte black tapware and bathroom accessories.
    • Lots of natural light!
