The Terrazzo look is one of those design choices that need careful consideration. Terrazzo shines by itself, but when it’s competing with some other textures and patterns, it can get busy and loud.
In the following project, the balance and harmony between colours and textures are evident. Beautiful Blush Terrazzo is the hero of the bathroom. The gorgeous tile covers the floor and comes up on one wall halfway, creating a ledge. A ledge is a fantastic way to break the line between two different types of tiles and a great way to create space for some shampoo bottles or a vase with greenery.
The rest of the tiles are simple yet elegant matte white subway tiles.
Beautiful Brass tapware complements both the terrazzo tile and timber features like the bathroom vanity and a bath caddy.
The custom Blackbutt Timber Vanity has plenty of storage, which means that instead of going with a full mirror cabinet, the client chose to go with curvy arch mirrors with a custom timber frame to match the timber vanity.
The whole look is crisp yet warm. It’s a perfect combination when trying to wind down after a big day at work and it also gives a boost of energy when getting ready for a busy day with a family.
